My name is Lise Summers. I’m an archivist and a historian, mostly based in Perth, Western Australia.  I’ve been a lone arranger, working on a school archives collection, and as a local studies librarian. I’ve recently been lecturing at Curtin in archives administration, and working as a senior archivist at the State Records Office of Western Australia.  I’m interested in things like appraisal, arrangement and description, preservation and public programs.  And now I’m writing ‘In the mailbox.’

As an historian I’m interested in local, organizational and community history, and urban environments.

The rest, to quote a favourite author, ‘is subject to change without notice.’
