Galley Proofs

As an independent scholar, any papers or presentations I might write for conferences, and even for journals, seldom (in fact, never) provide me with a financial return.  I have even more which have never seen the light of day, beyond a power point presentation or a set of notes.  I love the research and pulling together the ideas and evidence.  I enjoy the writing process, even if I find editing somewhat irksome. I’m putting them up here, in the spirit of open access: but do let me know if you’d like to pay for one.

In addition to thinking and writing about archives, I also write articles about social, urban and environmental history.
